Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of nevel.ai, the Nevel web application, the Nevel mobile apps, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by AI Happens B.V. (“Nevel”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Nevel is an AI workspace that routes prompts to multiple third-party large language models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and others) through a privacy proxy, with shared memory, document editing, and team-sharing features. The Service is provided on a subscription basis and is accessible via the web and mobile applications.

2. Eligibility and account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us promptly at support@nevel.ai if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and trial

  • Plans: Pro ($20/month), Advanced ($60/month), and Ultra ($200/month, invite-only). Current pricing is available at nevel.ai/pricing.
  • Free trial: Pro includes a seven-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. We do not auto-charge at the end of the trial unless you have explicitly added a payment method.
  • Billing cycle: subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
  • Taxes: prices are exclusive of applicable VAT or other taxes, which are added at checkout where required.
  • Payment processing: handled by Stripe and other processors listed at checkout. Nevel does not store your full payment card details.

4. Refunds and right of withdrawal

  • Consumers in the EU: under Dutch and EU consumer law you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the purchase of a digital subscription, unless performance has begun with your explicit consent and acknowledgment that you lose your withdrawal right. By starting to use the Service immediately after purchase, you explicitly agree to immediate performance and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal lapses once the Service has been delivered in full.
  • Pro-rata refunds are not provided for partial months. You retain access until the end of the current paid period after cancellation.
  • Exceptions: at our discretion we may issue a refund where the Service was materially unavailable due to a failure on our side.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, reverse-engineer the Service, scrape it, or use automated means to access it beyond the documented API.
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product, train competing models on Nevel outputs, or extract our proprietary prompts and routing logic.
  • Upload malware, attempt to compromise other users’ accounts, or interfere with the Service’s operation.
  • Use the Service to generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM), terror-related content, content intended to deceive or defraud, or content prohibited by the underlying AI providers’ usage policies.
  • Resell access to the Service without a written agreement with us.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice and without refund.

6. AI outputs and disclaimer

  • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, biased, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
  • Outputs are generated by third-party models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and others). Different models may produce different responses to the same prompt.
  • The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party rights with respect to model outputs.

7. Intellectual property

  • Your content. You retain all rights to the prompts, files, and projects you submit. You grant Nevel a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to process this content solely to operate the Service for you (routing through providers, generating outputs, storing memory and history).
  • Outputs. Subject to the underlying providers’ terms, you may use outputs for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.
  • Our IP. The Nevel platform, including the privacy proxy, routing logic, memory engine, software, design, and brand, is and remains the property of Nevel and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you no rights in the platform other than the right to use the Service.

8. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Availability and support

  • We aim for high availability but do not commit to a specific uptime SLA on the Pro and Advanced plans. The Ultra plan includes a dedicated SLA agreed at onboarding.
  • Planned maintenance is announced in advance where reasonably possible.
  • Support is provided via support@nevel.ai.

10. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms (in particular Section 5), unpaid invoices, or where required by law.
  • On termination we delete your account data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (see Privacy Policy § 7).

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service is limited to the amounts paid by you to Nevel for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

Nevel is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, including loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including in cases of intent, gross negligence, or for death and personal injury.

12. Changes to the Service and the Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to the Terms will be communicated at least 14 days in advance by email or via the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, except where mandatory consumer protection rules grant consumers a different forum.
